Job Description:
A company is looking for a Buyer/Planner IV to oversee
purchasing and supplier relationships for manufacturing and new
product introductions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage supplier relationships and oversee purchasing processes,
including securing quotes and negotiating terms
Utilize SAP for data maintenance, analysis, and reporting, ensuring
accuracy in materials data
Participate in the development of strategic supplier contracts and
monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance
Required Qualifications:
BS/BA in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Materials
Management, Engineering, or Technical Studies
10+ years of experience in direct/manufacturing materials,
purchasing, or supply chain with negotiating responsibility
Minimum 5 years of experience using SAP Materials Module and
electronic Document Control Systems
In-depth understanding of current trends, markets, and price
indexing
Advanced knowledge of Domestic and International suppliers
