Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Production Supervisor for
their growing manufacturing facility.Responsibilities:Will manage
operations on shiftWill hire, train and develop shift
employeesEnsure product quality is at the highest
standardParticipate on and lead continuous improvement
projectsTroubleshoots manufacturing challenges and determines
corrective actionUphold company safety regulations and ensure that
they are followedRequirements/Skills:Bachelor's Degree or an
Associate's Degree is preferred but not required. Additional
experience will be considered in lieu of a degree2-5 years of
experience managing hourly employees in a manufacturing setting
(preferably around metals/machining)Prefer experience participating
on formal Lean / CI projects (Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5s, etc.)KPI and
Metrix experience preferredMust be open to a 1st shift role that
can possibly transition to a 2nd shift in the future.UI 858005
