The Plant Manager will be responsible for leading the internal food manufacturing operations. The Plant Manager will be responsible for establishing policies and programs that drive company performance, growth, profitability, and promote company culture. The Plant Manager will oversee all aspects of the facility. Client DetailsMy client is a food co-manufacturer in the Norwalk area.Description

• Sets strategic direction and is responsible for hands on day-to-day operational excellence of manufacturing processes with increased productivity, driving on time delivery, maintaining high quality products output while looking for cost-effective savings.
• Collaborates with senior leadership in creating, growing, and building a flexible and responsive organization to achieve corporate objectives.
• Responsible for ensuring the leadership team within the Operations function is fully established, aligned, and supported to achieve both the corporate objectives as well as the departmental requirements.
• Develops budgets, forecasting and resource optimization with an emphasis on cost and operational efficiencies.
• This position is responsible for direct supervision of 2-3 direct reports and 75+ indirect reports.Profile
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in scientific field is a plus.
  • 10+ years of Manufacturing Management experience within the Food/Bev industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and manage a network of work 3rd party co-manufacturers.
  • Strong hands-on strategic and tactical leadership, business decision-making, and organizational development capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have commissioning experience
