Job DescriptionWe have an excellent opportunity for a Kitchen Measure Technician to join our team at Cabinets 2000 in Norwalk, CA!** We are seeking Section 3 local residents for this position**Benefits include: 401K with company match, medical, dental, and vision, paid vacation, sick time and holidays.Kitchen Measure Technician Overview:Under the direction of the Area Manager and/or Project Coordinator a Kitchen Measure Technician will provide a measurement of all sold jobs. Incumbent will utilize existing cabinet drawings and associated paperwork which will include a detailed measurements of all areas to be measured and that are included in job/cabinet drawings for each job. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that customer ordered cabinet projects have been verified against the original measurement prior to cut listing paper work is issued to the manufacturing.Job Responsibilities of the Kitchen Measure Technician:--- Arrive on time with proper tools for preset measure schedule.--- Review layout of kitchen to ensure all components are correct and all measurements are accurate--- Review all job site measurements match sales drawing--- Review appliance locations to ensure they will fit and review proper electric, gas and plumbing is in place or planned as part of the project--- Review all utility requirements of project including: electrical, plumbing, mechanical and specific code requirements in projects city and or county location--- Draw plumbing, gas and electric line information on cabinet diagrams noting any changes--- Review all project paperwork required to order the job and obtain needed signatures from the builder representative for any correctionsQualifications for the Kitchen Measure Technician:--- Specialized training and experience in the cabinet industry--- Must possess valid driver's license--- Drafting skills and legible handwriting required on all project plans and related paperwork--- Ability to complete all company forms and have familiarity with company guidelines on needs for placing a job on orderPhysical Demands for the Kitchen Measure Technician:LIGHT - Exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Light work usually requires walking or standing to a significant degree.Benefits :
