of the Role The function of the Customer Service Representative is
to provide direct support to the Service Center Managers and Sales
Representatives in the ongoing development of existing and
prospective ERIKS, NA customers to ensure that the Service Center
is able to meet its growth targets. ResponsibilitiesMust maintain
100% commitment to safety policies and procedures. Partners with
Sales Representatives to provide sales quotesProcesses incoming
inquiries in to company sales systemQuotes customers using working
knowledge of productSuccessfully achieves budgeted Service Center
sales goalsAssists A/R personnel in creating and establishing new
accounts and follows up on collectionsCoordinates with Sales
Representatives and Service Center management to keep account
activities updatedMonitors delivery date commitments and expedites
where appropriateMonitors customer specific inventory for sales
order fulfillmentMakes outbound calls to potential and existing
customers for new and sales growth opportunitiesBuilds and
maintains strong internal and external relationshipsProvides
technical/service support to account management, service center
management and internal and external customersSkills and Abilities
Possess excellent customer service skillsAbility to interact with
customers and team-members in a professional mannerAbility to work
independently and prioritize responsibilitiesMust have excellent
communication skills, both oral and writtenRequires a proficiency
in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and
division in units of measure Must be able to perform calculations
using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.Basic computer skills
including MS Word, Excel, internet and emailMust be able to
successfully utilize the company softwareQualifications2-4 years of
experience in industrial salesCollege degree preferred, will
