Job Description: Job Description Allied Universal® is hiring a Solutions Architect. The Solutions Architect supports the achievement of sales goals through direct pre-sales support providing high quality, innovative, cost-effective technical solutions that meet or exceed our customer's needs in a professional manner. The Solutions Architect will mentor junior architects within the department. Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 / annually RESPONSIBILITIES: Mentor and manage Solution Architect team, including resource allocation and technical guidance Design security technology solutions aligned with customer business requirements Prepare technical scopes of work, design narratives, and cost estimates Lead estimation process and collaborate with sales, management, and customer teams Review blueprints and specifications to develop compliant security solutions Research emerging technologies to enhance security integration offerings Coordinate with vendors for pricing and support sales in technical discussions and ROI presentations Ensure quality assurance and compliance with organizational standards and RFP requirements QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE): High school diploma or equivalent One or more of the following industry technology certifications: Physical Security Professional (PSP) Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Product-specific certification in Access Control and Video platforms (Avigilon, Milestone, Genetec, Lenel, AMAG) Minimum of five (5) years of experience with integrated electronic security solutions Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a pre-sales support/engineering position Strong technical knowledge of network infrastructure, video analytics, SaaS, and cloud-based security solutions Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam and PDF editing software Excellent communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively Willing to travel (20-30%) as needed PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE): Project Management (PMP) certification Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification College degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related major Supervisory experience BENEFITS: Bonus Potential Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance Enrollment in our company's 401(k)plan, subject to eligibility requirements Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
