In this role the candidate works on a team responsible for testing QTI security solutions on Qualcomm chipsets. The role involves a good mix of hands-on testing of the products and software development of test cases and automation using a combination of C/C++, Python and XML.Engineers will be responsible for developing software test applications and test automation which may include the following responsibilities: - Design test plan to validate security protocol and algorithm and its interaction with other applications. - Develop and implement test applications at both API level and system level using C and C++. Automating test cases in Python. - Test execution, troubleshooting and problem resolution on embedded software platforms - Interact in a team environment with developers, system engineers and testersAll Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity in their teams, and in the Company.Minimum Qualifications:--- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Preferred Qualifications:

• Software development skills in C, C++ and Python.
• Knowledge of cryptography and security protocol is a plus.
• Team player, work independently with minimum supervision
