team of software engineers from across the Boeing Enterprise who
are executing best practices and developing cutting-edge software

learn all phases of the software development lifecycle, cloud
technologies, and scalable architectures from embedded systems to

improvement.Position Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain an AWS-based infrastructure
environment
- Contribute to reliability, quality, security, supportability,
and scalability of applications
- Assist in troubleshooting of performance, integration and user
management issues by evaluating application and system logs
- Develop procedures and scripts for monitoring and automation of
manual processes
- Execute continuous integration, testing, and delivery within
CI/CD pipelines
- Decompose complex requirements and capabilities into executable
discrete user stories
- Create and maintain design and architecture documentation
- Maintain system documentation for configuration and
troubleshooting of known issues
- Facilitate research, evaluation, and design of new software
solutions
- Work with geographically-dispersed interdisciplinary team of
Engineering and Program Management professionalsThis position has
been identified as a virtual opportunity and will not require the
selected candidate to relocate.Security Clearance and Export
Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain
a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government
requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain interim and/or final
Secret U.S. Security clearance (Post-Start).Basic Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study
in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or
other technical degree
- 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- 2+ years of experience with IaC tools including Ansible &
Terraform
- Experience developing within AWS environments and configuring
AWS cloud servicesPreferred Qualifications (Desired
Skills/Experience):
- Proficient in Linux and Windows environments - developing
scripts using shell programing with Bash or PowerShell, and
additional scripting languages including Python
- Experience with Agile Methodologies
- Experience in the information technology industry with focus on
Infrastructure support
- Experience in SRE and/or DevOps
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with ability to
work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Delivering technical training and working hands-on with teams
to encourage adoption of cloud-native products and concepts
- Technical leadership to junior team members
- Extending and customizing Cloud Native Kubernetes services
- Experience with micro-service, cloud-native, and distributed
architectures
- Experience using Agile methodologies, with a focus on Scrum and
Kanban
- Experience with tools for Continuous Integration/Delivery,
Version Control, and Build Automation such as Git, Gitlab, and
Github
- Experience with configuring on-prem enterprise hardware
- Familiar with CIS hardening to ensure system/application
complianceTypical Education/Experience: - Education/experience
typically acquired through advanced technical education from an
accredited course of study in engineering, computer science,
mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5
or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination
of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years'
related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the
