Job Description:
Title Cath Lab Tech – Invasive Cardiac Cath Lab Schedule 4x10s
with on-call required 8 days per month. Minimum every other
weekend. Assignment Details - Contract Length: Travel assignment;
local candidates considered within 50-mile radius. - Guaranteed
Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period.
Requirements - BLS and ACLS certifications required. - California
state license must be in hand at submission. - Fluoroscopy permit
required. - 2 years of experience required with travel experience
necessary. - Strongly preferred experience in electrophysiology
(EP) and heart catheterization. Roles & Responsibilities - Perform
coronary angiography and left/right heart catheterizations. -
Provide temporary and permanent pacemaker support. - Support
electrophysiology procedures including mapping and ablation. -
Monitor hemodynamic status and interpret rhythms. - Maintain
sterile environment and perform scrub and circulating duties. -
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal
patient care. Compliance / Notes - Must possess a current LA Fire
Card (within the last 30 days) at the candidate's expense. -
Background/license issues must be disclosed upfront; no open
license hits accepted. - Travelers are expected to float between
facilities within the state; refusal may jeopardize assignment or
guaranteed hours. - Must be prepared to work 3 of the 5 holidays if
required: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's
Eve, New Year's Day.
