Customer Service Representative - Full Time, Days (Norwalk)
We are hospitals and affiliated medical groups, working closely

Customer Service Representative supports the Central Business
Office and Outside Vendors to ensure that administrative work is
completed in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner. Performs a
variety of administrative, support and clerical functions. Resolves
administrative issues and inquiries.
- Accurately prepares correspondence, documents, forms, reports
and completes ad hoc projects/duties in a timely manner, as
assigned. Scans information accurately and in a timely manner.
Establishes and maintains effective filing systems, provides
excellent departmental telephone and reception coverage, delivers
and sends out mail in a timely manner, and completes all other
assigned clerical functions to ensure efficient operation of the
- Actively engages in caring behaviors, taking conscious
ownership for work and takes a proactive, deliberate, and
thoughtful approach regarding work activities. Demonstrates
appropriate use of independent judgement and decision making.
Demonstrates excellent customer service at all times.
- Works with patients, vendors, and hospitals to ensure that
insurance information is correct, updating and correcting
information as needed, and in a timely manner. Maintains electronic
tracking logs as assigned. Maintains confidentiality in accordance
with hospital/corporate policies and HIPAA privacy regulations.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
requiredMinimum Experience: Two (2) years recent customer service
experience required. Computer literacy and proficiency required.
Ability to multitask and prioritize needs to meet timelines.
Understanding of basic medical terminology required. Must be able
to read, write and communicate effectively in English. Must
demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
Previous experience in healthcare preferred.Req.
