Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Surgical Neurophysiologist based in San Diego, CA. The Surgical Neurophysiologist will perform intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring during surgical procedures to support patient safety and optimize surgical outcomes. Responsibilities include monitoring neurological functions, providing real-time feedback to surgical teams, and accurately documenting findings. The role also involves assisting in pre-operative planning and collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room staff. Qualifications Doctor of Audiology with a valid Ca License (new grads are welcome) Experience with spine surgeries and intraoperative monitoring techniques Proficiency in operating room protocol and procedures, including sterilization and safety requirements Knowledge of EEG and neurophysiology principles, with experience in analyzing and interpreting data Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to remain focused during prolonged surgical procedures Excellent communication and teamwork skills while collaborating with multidisciplinary medical teams Completion of a CNIM (Certified Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring) certification is highly preferred Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., neuroscience, biology, or allied health) is required Willingness to work on location in San Diego, CA, with flexibility to adapt to surgery schedules for more information, please contact Muazzam Mirzayeva @ (619) 578-9595 email: Muazzam@aliansinc.com
