Traveler is seeking a CA-licensed RN Case Manager with at least one
year of oncology and case management experience for a day shift
assignment. Responsibilities - Work in an oncology-focused case
management unit within a hospital setting - Assignment is Monday
through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, five 8-hour day shifts per week
- Handles oncology and related diagnoses - Cerner EMR experience is
required - No blocked or self-scheduling permitted -
Responsibilities include coordination of oncology patient care,
patient education, and telephone triage - Preferred skills include
venipuncture/phlebotomy and scheduling patient appointments - No
RTO (requested time off) allowed within the first 2 weeks of
assignment - Candidates must have been gone 1 year to return as a
traveler to this health system - First-time travelers are welcome
to apply - Team supports strong patient education and teaching
focus - Scrub or dress requirements consistent with hospital policy
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate Requirements - Active,
valid CA RN license required at time of consideration - Bachelor of
Science in Nursing (BSN) required - Minimum of 1 year of case
management experience - Minimum of 1 year of oncology experience -
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - At least 1 year
acute care experience required - Experience with Cerner EMR
required - Must pass EKG exam (pass/fail, up to 3 attempts)
