Job Title: OR Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Outpatient Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 1 years of OR experience required License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: Experience in Ambulatory OR Experience with GI, ENT, and Ortho procedures required First-time travelers accepted Description: The role involves working in an Outpatient Surgery Center as an OR RN. Shifts are scheduled from 08:00 to 17:00. Responsibilities include providing pre-operative and post-operative care to patients. You will assist in various procedures, including endoscopic sinus procedures, septoplasty, hernia repair, and laparoscopic-assisted surgeries. The candidate should possess skills in infection control, specimen handling, and starting peripheral IVs. Collaboration with the surgical team is essential for optimal patient outcomes.
