Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years required, travel experience preferred License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP, C-EFM preferred Must-Have: - Precepting skills preferred - Ability to float between units Description: This position involves providing care to labor and delivery patients. A strong caregiver is needed to support the evening shift. Flexibility to work weekends is required. Candidates must have experience with high and low-risk labor patients. The ideal candidate will have skills to circulate and recover cesarean sections. Knowledge of AWHONN standards is essential. Patient ratios will vary based on stage of labor. The facility manages a high volume of births per month. Special procedures will require proficiency in newborn care and non-stress tests. It is preferred that candidates have precepting experience. Additional skills in telemetry interpretation are beneficial. Travelers may be required to float between like units.
