- Hourly Pay: $42.00 - Overtime Pay: $63.00 - Per Shift Pay:
$336.00 Position Summary The Per Diem Surgical Technician supports
surgical teams by preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterile
fields, and assisting surgeons during procedures in a fast-paced
hospital environment. Key Responsibilities - Prepare operating
rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment -
Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures - Assist
surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating
needs - Perform surgical counts (sponges, sharps, instruments) -
Handle and label specimens appropriately - Clean, turnover, and
restock operating rooms - Follow hospital policies, safety, and
infection control standards Required Qualifications - Graduate of
an accredited Surgical Technology program - CST certification
preferred - BLS certification required - Minimum 1–2 years of
recent hospital OR experience - Strong knowledge of sterile
technique - Ability to commit to 8-hour per diem shifts for 12
weeks Preferred Qualifications - Experience with multiple surgical
specialties - Strong communication and teamwork skills Job Types:
