This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.
What we do:
The Test & Evaluation Labs Engineer is responsible for designing
and implementing the Systems Integration Lab, which includes
Dynamometer and Actuation testing, to support the UAM vehicle
development program. This role requires close coordination with the
vehicle systems teams, systems engineering, facilities, finance,
and procurement to ensure successful implementation of the lab.
What you can do:
Collaborate with the vehicle engineering team to design the
architecture for and coordinate the construction of the aircraft
systems integration lab
Collaborate with the engineering team to define the requirements
related to the SIL and how it will support the aircraft development
process
Collaborate with the vehicle engineering team to develop and
implement testing strategies to improve test execution
efficiency
Establish and maintain configuration management and conformity of
the lab
Work closely with the facilities team to ensure a timely and
accurate lab build
Develop and lead the implementation of the lab test benches
Assist in the coordination of the systems integration and
verification activities with the vehicle engineering team
Maintain the lab readiness to support the project test campaign
Partner with PMO organization to implement build plan
Up to 30% of domestic and international travel
Other duties as assigned
What you can contribute:
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical, Mechanical, Systems,
or Industrial Engineering or other related field required; Master's
degree preferred
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in aerospace engineering
or similar engineering field (an equivalent combination of
education and experience may be considered)
Experience with DOORS or other requirements management tools
Experience in Dynamometer testing
Experience in systems integration and verification
Experience in managing complex projects across multi-discipline
teams
Experience with formal verification procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish
work within time constraints
Proficiency with Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables, MS Office Suite
Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience,
job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible
for a bonus as part of total compensation.
The pay range for this position is:
$122,750-$144,945 USD
