Job Title: Certified Nursing AssistantBase Rate: $21.00- $25.7512 hr. shifts- overtime is paid after 8 hours, resulting in an average rate of $24.50-30.04Job Summary: Performs under the supervision of a licensed nurse, provides individually assigned patient care activities based upon established patient care policies, procedures, state, federal, and regulatory board requirements. Active and enthusiastic member of the healthcare team with responsibilities to include monitoring of patient vitals signed, providing patient hygiene and comfort measures, assisting with the medical procedures and fulfilling nutritional needs. Actively and consistently contributes to department operations and communications, behaves in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Pipeline Health, upholding standards of AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank you) patient communication.Experience:At least six (6) months prior experience as a CNA within the hospital setting preferredCritical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, strong organizational skills, ability to follow verbal instructions, and PC (computer) skills.A capacity to learn, synthesize, make critical judgments, work independently, place patients and families first, and collaborate with the team members who are recognized leaders within health care.Licensure/Certifications:CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) issued by licensing/certifying board in state of employment.BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA (American Heart Association)AB508 (Management of Assaultive Behavior, MAB) requiredTo learn more about Coast Plaza Hospital please see link:About Us Coast Plaza Hospital#INDSPby Jobble
