Vice President of Sales Operations and Marketing. The Director of
Special Projects and Community Engagement will be responsible for
planning, implementing, and executing a wide range of initiatives
that align with Goodwill Southern Los Angeles County's strategic
goals and objectives. This position leads and supports marketing,
community relationship building, donation drives, and social events
and uses these events to tell our story and strengthen Goodwill
SOLAC's marketing and social media presence.This leadership
position requires exceptional organizational, analytical, and
communication skills.Exemplary Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the division's special projects strategy in
alignment with company objectives.
- Lead agency marketing efforts in conjunction with CEO, SVP and
marketing consultants.
- Project lead for special events; EcoCouture, Power of Work, New
Store and Donation Center Openings.
- Plan and execute projects from initiation to completion,
ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, and meeting quality
standards.
- Identify project goals, objectives, and key performance
indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with division leadership.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, making
adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project
outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project
scope, deliverables, and milestones.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among team
members to ensure project success.
- Evaluate project performance and identify areas for
improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Proven experience in managing and delivering complex
projects.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the
ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project
objectives.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a
focus on results and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the
ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.

OF SPECIAL PROJECTS AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project
management, or equivalent experience leading community events for
an organization, lead event planner experience, donation drive
leadership experience.
- Proven experience as a project manager or director of special
projects, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing and working with cross-functional
teams.
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time, within
budget, and meeting quality standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build
relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Must possess a valid California motor vehicle operating license
and must be willing to use their vehicle in the course of
employment.Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is
