Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Project
Manager works extensively with the account management, software,
integrations, and engineering teams to apply Biosero’s operational
excellence to their region. They ensure that all projects are
delivered on-time and within scope and budget. They must love
working in an extremely fast paced environment, have a passion for
details, and possess superior problem-solving skills. SUPERVISES
N/A ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage software,
integration, and automation projects internally from project
initiation though delivery and sign-off. Establish project goals
and implementation plans. Develop detailed, cross-functional,
realistic timelines. Conduct resource management and plan for
contingencies. Ensure that requirements and customer satisfaction
are met while meeting the company’s profitability goals. Manage
project scope through proper documentation and process driven
milestones. Evaluate the impact of project changes and adjust
implementation activities to meet revised schedules. Clearly
communicate any changes and the impact to original plan to the
cross-functional team and senior management in a timely fashion.
Work with external vendors to ensure equipment and parts are
purchased and delivered according to project timeline and
specifications. Function as the main contact for third party
vendors as needed. Interface with other functional teams,
customers, internal clients, project staff and internal and
external experts. Proactively communicate with customers, and
internal teams as needed throughout the project. Coordinate and
communicate all milestones within the projects from kick off
meetings, documentation, facilities meetings, Factory Acceptance
Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) closure meetings, and
include appropriate stakeholders. Anticipate and mitigate all
project risks, including all documentation in collaboration with
the customer. Perform root cause analysis to make judgments, assess
impact to projects, and determine interconnections within the
organization. Develop and recommend process improvements that
support project strategies and execution. Work with
cross-functional groups to ensure that contingencies are
established appropriately, re-baseline schedules when appropriate,
and provide updates to senior management. Conduct project
retrospectives with the intent to improve internal processes and
ensure consistency of project execution. Share lessons learned
within the company. Recommend innovative ways to improve
performance, enhance quality, and increase profitability on an
ongoing basis; modify work processes and procedures as needed.
Mediate conflicts and take initiative to resolve them
constructively; divert tensions away from individuals and toward
continuous process improvement. Probe for root cause(s) of
problems, collaborate to find mutually beneficial solutions,
propose actions, and assist in implementation. Performs all other
duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Education / Work
Experience Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or
biological sciences. Project Management Professional (PMP)
certification (or equivalent) required. 3 years of technical
project management experience. Required Skills Ability to motivate
teams. Strong written and oral communication. Strong negotiating
skills. Excellent leadership skills and ability to lead meetings,
and teams of people to project completion; strong ability to follow
through, follow up and follow process Ability to balance competing
interests such as customer requirements and company goals. Outgoing
personality with the ability to resolve issues and manage tasks to
completion. Ability to identify and manage areas of risk in
customer’s documentation/specifications or in other aspects of the
project. Proficient in MS Word, MS Teams, Office, Excel, Project,
Visio and SharePoint. Experience using additional project
management tools such as Jira, SmartSheet, and ClickUp is preferred
Strong work ethic with an excellent ability to work with teams.
Intermittent travel to customers’ sites as needed (successful
completion of background check may be required) Some experience
with laboratory automation, robotics, LIMS and some engineering
and/or biology background is a strong plus. Ability to lead and
work closely with Mechanical Engineers, Controls Engineers,
Facilities managers, Applications scientists will be critical.
Ability to concept, write, and quote change order requests. Ability
to write or assist with the writing or editing of FAT/SAT or User
Requirements and Specifications (URS) documentation as needed.
Strong initiative and ability to be flexible with changing needs
throughout projects on internal to company. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While
performing the duties of this job the employee will regularly work
at a computer work station and access information from a computer.
The individual will regularly listen and speak in person, on a
telephone or via video meetings. The individual will occasionally
spend time on foot, walking around facilities. The individual will
occasionally be required to lift, carry, or move equipment of
varying weight. Certain tasks will occasionally require bending,
stooping, or kneeling. The employee will occasionally move up to 50
pounds. The base salary range for this position is
