competency to repair and maintain hospital utility systems and
their supporting equipment. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School
graduate or equivalent 2 years general maintenance mechanic
experience, preferably in hospitals. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to
read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and
maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write
routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic
chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level
in the work environment is usually moderate. ADA CONSIDERATION : To
