Job Description:
Job Description Summary Assist with day to day operations of the
department including but not limited to: providing support for
production including managing box office and front of house for our
theatrical season. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be
enrolled in a graduate program at the University of La Verne. At
minimum candidates must demonstrate a familiarity with some of the
tools and techniques related to the theatre publicity such as
computer software, video, or computer programming by providing a
letter of recommendation that speaks to the candidates character
and experience. Preferred Qualifications Ideal candidates will have
worked on more than one high school or college theatre production
and can demonstrate requisite skills in graphics, writing , and
video production by way of a portfolio or a letter of
recommendation. This position requires patience, a sense of humor,
and a sincere desire to help others achieve the highest levels of
success in theatre production in order to foster life long
learning, diversity, and community building. Work Schedule Flexible
Schedule working weekdays, some evenings and weekends. Ideal
candidates can attend weekly production meetings.
