Great Wolf Lodge, a leader in family-friendly resorts with a focus on fun and leisure, is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance and operational standards of our facilities, including water parks, hotel accommodations, and other guest areas. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction, safety, and regulatory compliance through efficient facility management and innovative maintenance solutions. The Facilities Maintenance Director will play a critical role in maintaining the magical experience at Great Wolf Lodge that keeps families returning year after year. Oversee the daily operations of the facilities maintenance department, ensuring all areas are functioning to the highest standard of safety and efficiency. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies across various departments including water quality, mechanical systems, and building structures. Schedule preventative maintenance and timely repairs to minimize downtime and ensure consistent guest satisfaction. Manage capital projects from conception to execution, coordinating with contractors and ensuring compliance with all safety and building regulations. Lead, train, and evaluate maintenance staff while promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Develop and oversee the departmental budget, including cost control initiatives and procurement of high-quality materials and equipment. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, and maintain up-to-date documentation on all maintenance activities and system performance. Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure a coordinated approach to guest satisfaction. Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Proficient in facility management software and MS Office Expertise in mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics Skilled in budget creation and cost management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Facility Manager (CFM) preferred Certification in Pool Operation (CPO) beneficial Relevant safety compliance certifications
