Senior Internal Auditor Our well-known, services-based client located in Costa Mesa is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join their internal audit function. The Senior Internal Auditor will support the organization’s management to provide assurance reviews of the enterprise’s control environment. The Senior Internal Auditor role will provide an excellent foundation for understanding the organization’s operations and can be a stepping stone to move into other parts of the organization (e.g., accounting, finance, reporting, business unit finance). For this role, the Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Plan and execute effective audit plans utilizing sound judgments on objectives and scope Develop beneficial, value added management actions for identified gaps Lead and perform financial, operational, regulatory, and compliance audits of small to large scopes Understand business processes through the execution of audit tests and data analytics to assess the design of controls and identify any deficiencies Prepare internal audit reports based on operational audits and provide advisory services to internal stakeholders The qualified Senior Internal Auditor will possess the following: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least five (5) years of related work experience A professional certification - such as CPA, CIA, or CFE – is required Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – and ability to interacts with all levels of the corporate workforce, including senior leadership Any prior data analytic tools (e.g., Tableau, ACL, etc.) is preferred Strong project and time management skills along with the demonstrated ability to work independently with a high level of detail and accuracy Willingness to occasionally travel locally for audit execution For further details, qualified candidates should send their resume in MS Word format to teddy.kang@talentedsg.com .
