Job Description Job Description We are looking for an
experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a
contract basis in Valencia, California. This role requires a
detail-oriented individual with a solid background in managing
accounts receivable processes, cash applications, and commercial
collections. You will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy
and efficiency of billing and cash activity operations.
Responsibilities: • Process and manage accounts receivable
transactions with precision and efficiency. • Handle cash
applications to ensure payments are accurately recorded and
reconciled. • Conduct commercial collections to follow up on
outstanding invoices and resolve payment discrepancies. • Prepare
and issue accurate billing statements to customers in a timely
manner. • Monitor and analyze cash activity to maintain accurate
financial records. • Collaborate with internal and external
stakeholders to address account-related inquiries. • Review and
update accounts receivable documentation to ensure compliance with
company policies. • Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts
promptly. • Support month-end and year-end financial closing
processes related to accounts receivable. • Maintain organized and
up-to-date records of all transactions and communications.• At
least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, including cash
applications and collections. • Strong knowledge of commercial
billing processes and financial operations. • Proficiency in
managing cash activity and reconciling accounts. • Excellent
attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to
communicate effectively with clients and team members. •
Familiarity with relevant accounting software and tools. •
Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and resolve issues
efficiently. • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, contract-based
work environment.
